Case Study

The impact of Covid has been devastating not only to the community but also business in general. The shortage of skilled staff has caused disruption to many businesses. These shortages have resulted in experienced staff at all levels being required to perform activities more commonly performed by more junior staff. This has increased the feeling of overwhelm with Key People as they work longer hours, leading to an increase in sick days and burnout, increased employee disengagement and ultimately leaving their role. This is incredibly disruptive to the business. Our client, who we have worked with since 2013, experienced this situation. It was causing a significant amount of stress on the business owner and their Key Person. Due to our close relationship with the business, we quickly identified the issue and proposed a solution . We appointed a person and commenced planning the role and re-distributing key activities. This allowed the client’s Key Person to focus on tasks that were essential to the business.
